As high school sports, not just baseball, get more competitive, it is a reality that players interested in participating need to participate in their chosen sport as much as possible, not just in their high school season.
The North Bay Yankees Summer Program is a summer competitive league for players entering 9th grade in the Fall of 2018 through graduating seniors. The summer season allows players to develop their skills while playing competitive baseball.
IN ORDER TO MAKE THE PROGRAM WORK, THERE ARE TWO SIGNUP OPTIONS - Full Summer and Half Summer. Once the schedule is confirmed, players can coordinate with coaches which games they will miss if they are signed up for Half Summer program.
Participation in this program is entirely voluntary and has NO effect on player's participation with their high school baseball program. This program is open to players from all high schools.
The summer program presented here is only one of many. The advantage is that most of the games will be played in Marin, California which can be convenient for local high school athletes.
MARIN BASEBALL CLUB
Marin Baseball Club is a parent volunteer group who organizes the preseason baseball program. Registration fees pay for insurance, field rentals, pro-coaches and instructors, equipment and umpires. Limited financial assistance is available by contacting baseballclubmarin@gmail.com. This program is organized with every intent and effort to comply with NCS rules.
